Customer Validation

Customer validation ensures that all newly created customers are reviewed and approved before becoming active in the system. This helps maintain data accuracy and control.


How to enable customer validation

Navigate to the client Settings page to the Addon section within Customer Lists by toggling “Enable customer validation.”


Lifecycle Status Configuration

Lifecycle states are configured under FP Direct lifecycle rules in the Add-ons tab. Once enabled, a Status column appears in the customer list, displaying:

  • Pending
  • Approved
  • Rejected

Customer Creation Behavior

  • Customers created via mobile are automatically assigned a Pending status.
  • Customers created via the web are automatically Approved.
  • Web users receive notifications when new customers are submitted from mobile.


Approval & Rejection Process

Once customers are created by mobile users on the mobile app they are sent to the customer page on Webapp

Managers can review pending customers from the Webapp and take action:

  • Approve to activate the customer
  • Reject to decline the entry

When rejecting a customer:

  • A modal appears allowing an optional rejection reason (up to 100 characters)



Viewing Rejection Reasons

Rejected customers display an info icon. Hovering over it reveals the rejection reason in a tooltip.



Bulk Actions

Managers can process multiple customers at once by:

  • Using multi-selection in the list
  • Uploading a Bulk CSV file for approvals or rejections



Filtering Customers

Customer lists can be filtered by lifecycle status:

  • Pending
  • Approved
  • Rejected

Multiple statuses can be selected simultaneously for easier management
