Customers Map is an intuitive tool that provides a comprehensive visual representation of customer data. With its user-friendly interface and advanced functionalities, it empowers field teams to optimize their operations and enhance customer engagement on the map!


Key Features


Interactive Map Interface


The map interface showcases customer locations using color-coded markers. Each color corresponds to a specific customer type or status, facilitating quick identification of outlets


Advanced Filters


The map offers a range of filtering options below:


  1. Customer name - Filters for multiple customers on selection for display on the map


  1. Customer Type - Easily differentiate between various customer categories, such as supermarkets, hypermarkets and distributors.


  1. Owners & Territory Owners - Track which field user is responsible for specific customers or territories.


  1. Teams & Regions - Segment the map by operational teams or regional divisions for better management.


  1. Last Visit Date - Identify customers who haven’t been visited recently to ensure timely follow-ups.


  1. Customer Channel - Classify customers according to how they have been particularized.


  1. Visit frequency - Filter customers based on the count of visits.


  1. Route Day - Filter customers based on assigned route days to optimize daily visit schedules.



These filtering options help users target specific groups and streamline their field activities.


Maps clusters


To manage high-density areas, the map automatically groups customers into clusters, displaying the total number of customers within each cluster. This feature is particularly beneficial for global operations, allowing for effective management across multiple regions or continents.


By zooming in on a cluster, you will be able to view the customers composing it and even zoom further to a specific customer/outlet


Map Legends


The map legends categorize outlet types and include outlet names, making it simple to differentiate customers based on their profiles.


This breakdown provides a quick snapshot of each category.


The legends are defined from the single choice questions on the customer list


  • Per-user or team. Shows the team or the user who last visited the customer
  • Per last vist date. Shows the last visit date to the customer
  • Per type. Shows the types of customers, picking information from the _type attribute in the customer list
  • Per status - Shows where the customers are located(Region)


Legends are located at the top right of your screen


Territory Management


The Customers Map includes powerful territory management features:


  1. View territories - Visualize assigned territories and their respective owners directly on the map.


  1. Create and edit territories - Define new territories or modify existing ones to adapt to changing operational needs.


  1. Territory list view - Access a comprehensive list of all territories, easily viewable on the map for effective management.


The territories icon is located at the right of your screen, just above the territories icon. After clicking on it, a drop down will appear with several options. Among these options, you will be able to create and edit territories when you click on more options, You will also view existing territories.



View customer details


By clicking on a customer marker opens a detailed pop-up that includes:


  1. Customer Profile - Access key data such as customer title/name, as defined on the web app, contact information and customer type.


  1. Activity Summary - Review visit history, performance metrics, and pictures taken to identify the customer, as defined in the list schema to assess customer engagement.
  • The attributes
  • The metadata shows when the customer was created/updated, etc.



Specialized views include:


Satellite view - Offers detailed geographic and topographical data for improved situational awareness.


To have a satellite view of the map click on the small white box on the bottom left of the map and enable the satellite view toggle


Green Forest Watch - Integrates environmental data to monitor territories, especially in eco-sensitive areas. This feature is enabled on the Settings sections under addons


With these new enhancements, the customers' map becomes a powerful tool for field teams.


It offers improved visibility, streamlined customer management, and effective territory planning—all in one place.
