Bluestacks is software that enables users to use android apps on their PC just like on a normal phone, it brings Android N (7.1.2) to computers (currently windows only but coming soon to mac).

It's therefore a useful tool for testing FieldPro app if you don’t have an android phone.

NOTE: For best performance, ensure your PC has a RAM of 8 GB and above. Bluestacks is heavy and consumes lots of RAM, hence PC performance might be slowed when the app is in use.INS

Let’s go step by step through the process of using FieldPro with Bluestacks :smile:

Installation

Go to https://www.bluestacks.com/download.html and download Bluestacks 5



Click the download button to download the setup file and then open and click on RUN then INSTALL. you should see Bluestacks downloading the files











After the post-installation preparation, you should arrive at the home of your new android device



You can now either go to the play store to download the production version of FieldPro or go to Google Chrome in the system app folder

Connect/login with your google account, in order to be able to install the app.



Once the email has been connected, search For FieldPro and Install it.



You now have access to FieldPro on your computer, and can proceed to login with the registered number/details, just like on a normal phone.



Don’t worry if you close Bluestacks, all your installed apps will be available anytime you open Bluestacks.



For PCs with lower specs


If your PC has low performance you can activate the eco mode and use the low memory mode:
