Using the Settings Tab on FieldPro Mobile App
After logging into the FieldPro mobile app and accessing the App , you can customize your experience by clicking on the Settings (gear) tab located at the bottom right corner of your phone screen.
The Settings section is organized into three main categories:
1. Account Profile
2. General Settings
3. About FieldPro
This section is divided into 4 parts:
Edit Profile
Clients
Resources
Synchronization warnings
In this subsection, you can update your personal information, including your profile picture. Name and phone number is prefilled once you've logged into the app.
To edit your profile:
Tap on the Edit Profile button.
Your current profile will be displayed. If your profile picture is unclear or does not meet standards (e.g., blurred or poorly lit), you can update it.
Click on the Edit (pen) icon to access your camera.
Capture a new photo and click Save to update your profile picture.
The Clients section displays a comprehensive list of all clients assigned to you.
For mobile users who have access to multiple client environments, this section allows seamless switching between different environments without logging out.
This capability enhances efficiency, especially when managing multiple client accounts.
In the Resources section, you can access a variety of materials uploaded for you by your Supervisor/Admins that may support your work:
Click on the Resources menu to reveal side-by-side tabs for lists and documents.
Select either the Lists or Documents tab to view available resources.
Click on any document or list to read or view its contents.
Resources may include various formats such as instructional videos, audio files, images, or written documents, providing diverse learning tools tailored to your needs
For further assistance on these actions, refer to instructional videos available in-app.
The Synchronization Warnings area is vital for tracking data integrity within the app.
Here, you will find a list of any data that has not been synchronized successfully into our database.
This section serves as a reminder of pending tasks that require attention, ensuring that all necessary information is up-to-date and accessible.
In the event of a failed sync, a pop-up will display the number of unsynced activity reports or customers.
You can click 'Push All' to force synchronization and ensure all data is up-to-date
The General Settings section allows users to configure app functionalities according to their preferences and operational needs.
It includes four primary components:

Insight Settings
GPS Tracking
Enable Dark Mode
This subsection provides insights into how the app utilizes data and storage resources:
a) Network Usage : Monitor how much data has been consumed by the app during its operation.
b) Space Used : View how much storage space is occupied by the app's data. Typically, each activity report is under 10KB monthly, with images from visits totaling less than 500MB.
c) Enable Offline Optimization : Activating this option prevents the app from retrieving data on every page load, which helps conserve mobile data usage.
d) Clear Cache : This function frees up storage space if your device is nearing its capacity. Before clearing cache data, ensure all critical information has been synced to avoid loss:
Option 1 : Navigate to Data and Storage Usage, then select Clear Cache at the bottom of the page.

Once you clear cache click on refresh icon on the top right of the setting page
If you encounter issues in the app or need assistance:
In the Settings section, select “Data and Storage Usage.”
Choose “Send Debug Report.”
A zip folder will be generated for you to share via SMS, WhatsApp, or email with the support team.

This menu option redirects you to the Google Play Store, where you can rate your experience with our FieldPro app.
Providing feedback helps in improving the app.
Occasionally, you may be advised to sign out of the mobile application
To sign out:
Click on the Sign Out button located at the bottom of the settings page.
Confirm your choice when prompted.
At the bottom of the settings page, you can find information regarding the current version of the app you are using.
Keeping your app updated is essential for accessing new features and improvements. Regular updates ensure that you have the best performance and latest functionalities available.
